Central Reserve Police Force – Emolument and Allowances

The pay scale of the Central Reserve Police Force ranges between Rs 35,400 and Rs 1, 12,400. However, it depends on the post you are joining in. For instance, if you join as a Sub-Inspector, then your grade pay will stand at Rs 4,200 (Level 6).

In-hand salary = Rs 41231 (X city); Rs 36600 (Y city); Rs 33767 (Z city)

Border Security Force

  • Keeping a check on the entry and exit points of the country to prevent transnational offence

Border Security Force – Promotional Avenues

Again, the scope of career growth depends on the candidate’s merits. Internal exams are conducted to promote a candidate to a higher rank. Usually, it takes about three years to be promoted from Sub-Inspector rank to Inspector rank. However, you would need an impressive service record for that, and you must have been in command of a platoon for at least two years.
