FCI Manager Exam Pattern Change: The Food Cooperation of India (FCI) has released 113 vacancies for the manager position. Candidates aspiring for this prestigious position should be aware of the changes in the exam pattern that have been introduced for FCI Manager 2022 Exam. FCI Manager Exam Pattern Change: Updated Pattern and Comparison
FCI Manager exam has two phases of written test- Phase I and Phase II. Phase I is common to all candidates while Phase II has different Papers that candidates will appear based on the position they have applied for.
The exam pattern change is mainly in Phase I and Paper I of Phase II. The following is the exam pattern for FCI Manager 2022 Phase I as detailed in the official notification.

FCI Manager Marking Scheme
The marking scheme for FCI Manager 2022 Exam remains unchanged. One (1) mark will be rewarded for every correct answer while one-fourth (1/4) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
For questions left unattended, there will not be any negative marking.
FCI Manager Exam Pattern Change: Analysis
FCI has introduced a fourth section for the Phase I exam for FCI Manager 2022. This section will include topics of General Studies mainly,
- Indian History
- Indian Economy
- Geography
- General Science
These will be mostly questions of the level of 8th standard and will make up 20 out of the 25 questions in the section.
The remaining 5 questions will be Current Affairs questions.

FCI Manager Exam Pattern Change: Conclusion
Candidates already preparing for various government or bank exams will be in a habit of preparing for the English, Reasoning, and Quant sections of Phase I of the FCI Manager Exam. In addition, now candidates need to only specially prepare for the General Studies section of Phase I. It is vital not to gloss over this section since it has equal weightage as the rest of the sections and can be an easy-scoring section.
In case of Phase II, the candidates will have to prepare thoroughly in case of Paper II for the ones applying for the posts which require that paper.
