JKSSB Patwari Syllabus & Pattern: Overview
Both the syllabus and the pattern for the exam for the post of JKSSB Patwari are released on the official website of the recruiting board. While the Notification mentions the scheme (pattern) for the examination in a few paragraphs, there is no mention of the detailed syllabus. JKSSB Patwari Exam Pattern Based on the Official Notification

- It explains that the Examination shall have Objective type questions which will be in the Multiple choice format.

After that, no representation about the Answer will be entertained. JKSSB Patwari Exam Pattern Stages
There will be two stages in the recruitment pattern for the JKSSB Patwari post. The first is the Urdu language exam. Only those candidates who clear this first stage will be allowed to sit for the next stage, the Written Examination. When a candidate qualifies in the written exam, the candidate becomes eligible for the post of JKSSB Patwari.

JKSSB Patwari Exam Pattern Stage-I
Urdu Language Test
The first phase of the selection process is a test for the Urdu language. It will be 50 marks. This test comprises two sections, a Reading Test and a Writing Test.
Candidates of the OM or Open Merit category must have an average of a minimum of 40% marks (overall) and a minimum of 33% marks per section. Only then will it be considered that they have a working knowledge of the Urdu language.
Besides passing the test for the Urdu language, the candidate must have scored marks equal to or more than the cut-off marks for 2021. Only then will the candidate qualify to move to the next stage of selection, which is the Written Examination.
Urdu Language Reading Section
The Reading section of the Urdu language test is for 20 marks. All the questions in this section are for one mark. The questions will be on passages that are provided. Here, the candidates are expected to read out given passages in the language they are written.
Urdu Language Written Section

Written Examination
The second stage of the recruitment process for the JKSSB Patwari Post is the Written Examination for 100 marks. It is an objective type examination that is conducted in the offline mode. It is a multiple-choice questionnaire where for each question that is asked, the candidate has to select the correct option from a given set of options for that question. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be added, and for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be subtracted from the total.
