The State Bank of India (SBI) is set to conduct the prelims phase of SBI Clerk exam for the recruitment of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales). Topics Covered

SBI Clerk Exam Analysis – Prelims Exam Pattern

The SBI Clerk Prelims contains 3 sections namely, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability & English Language. Further, we have covered what each section would look like.

Numerical Ability 

The numerical ability or the quant section will comprise of a total of 35 questions with 20 minutes allotted to the section to complete it. Although there is no sectional cut off, you need to score certain marks to qualify the overall cutoff.

Reasoning Ability

The reasoning ability section again consists of 35 questions with a similar 20 minutes allotted to complete it. In this section, students are quizzed on their thinking and approach. Each question will carry 1 mark and a total of 35 marks are allocated.

English Language

English section has a bit different contribution to the total marks as compared to reasoning and numerical ability. A total of 30 questions will be there in this section and a total time of 20 minutes will be allocated.

100 questions are to be attempted in a given time of 60 minutes.  You will have to finish maximum possible questions in the given time to assure clearing prelims and moving on to mains.
