OICL AO Syllabus 2025: The Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL) has been released the OICL AO Recruitment Notification for the recruitment 100 Administrative Officers (Scale-1) in different areas all over India. OICL AO Recruitment Selection Process 2025

Candidates interested in the Administrative Officers position, will be selected on the basis of their performance in the following stages of selection process:

  1. Prelims Exam:
    • Format: Multiple-choice questions.
    • Qualifying Nature: Marks from Prelims don’t affect final ranking.
  2. Mains Exam:
    • Format: Mix of objective and descriptive questions.
    • Total Marks: 230 (200 for objective + 30 for descriptive).
    • Qualification Requirement: Candidates need minimum marks in both sections and overall.
  3. Interview:
    • Qualification Criteria: Candidates who pass Mains proceed to Interview.
    • Weightage: Online Exam counts for 80%, Interview for 20%.

Final Selection:

  • The ultimate selection is determined by the combined performance in the Mains Exam and Interview.
  • The weightage ratio for the Online Exam and Interview is 80:20, respectively.
  • Marks obtained in the Prelims exam do not contribute to the final merit list.

  • There is a sectional timing of 20 minutes for each section.
  • For every incorrect answer, there will be a negative marking of 1/4th mark, resulting in a deduction of 0.25 marks from the total score.
