RRB Group D Selection Process – Computer-Based Test (CBT)

The first stage is an online Computer-Based Test (CBT) where candidates are assessed on four subjects: General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness & Current Affairs. The RRB Group D details are as follows:

• Marking Scheme: 1 mark per question, 1/3rd negative marking for wrong answers

RRB Group D Selection Process – Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The second stage in the selection process of group D railway posts is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which evaluates the physical fitness of candidates. This stage is qualifying in nature, and different criteria are set for male and female candidates.

PET Criteria for Male Candidates

• Weight Lifting: Lift 35 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes without putting it down.
• Running: Complete a 1000-meter run in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in a single attempt.

PET Criteria for Female Candidates

• Weight Lifting: Lift 20 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes without putting it down.
• Running: Complete a 1000-meter run in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in a single attempt.

Candidates who will clear PET will be called for Document Verification. During this stage, all original documents will be verified to confirm the RRB Group D eligibility of candidates. RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria 2025
