The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) issued a notification for the recruitment of SSC CGL NIA SI and SI- Narcotics on 23rd December 2021. The process of application started on 23rd December itself and will continue till 23rd January 2022. The CGL examination is conducted to fill the Group B and Group C vacancies. Tier I examination is expected to be conducted sometime in April 2022.

The Examination will be conducted in four tiers:

  • Tier-I: Computer Based Examination
  • Tier-II: Computer Based Examination
  • Tier-III: Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)
  • Tier-IV: Computer Proficiency Test/ Data Entry Skill Test (wherever applicable)

Nationality

SSC CGL NIA SI Group- BSSC CGL SI- Narcotics Group- C
A candidate must be either: i. An Indian citizen, or ii. A subject of Nepal, or iii. A subject of Bhutan, or iv. A Tibetan refugee who came to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling down in India, orv. An individual of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika & Zanzibar), Zambia, Zaire, Malawi, Vietnam, and Ethiopia with the intention of permanently settling down in India. Provided that candidates belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) mentioned above must be a person in whose favour an eligibility certificate has been issued by the Indian Govt. Candidates in whose case an eligibility certificate is necessary may be admitted to the Exam, but the appointment offer will be given only after the required eligibility certificate has been issued to them by the Indian Govt.A candidate must be either: i.
