SSC JE Paper I Exam Pattern
Candidates must be aware of the details of Paper I of the SSC JE 2025. All the candidates need to clear Paper I to qualify for Paper II. We have mentioned below the exam pattern for Paper I.

- General Engineering Paper: Candidates must attempt Part-A, Part-B, or Part-C in Paper-I based on their educational qualification mentioned in the application form.
- Question Format: Paper-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple-choice questions available in Hindi and English.
- Negative Marking: One-third of the marks for each incorrect answer will be deducted as negative marking.
- Normalization of Marks: Marks from the Computer-Based Examination (conducted in multiple shifts) will be normalized using a formula provided by the Commission.
- Re-evaluation Policy: No re-evaluation or re-checking of scores will be allowed for any stage or paper. The Commission will not entertain any correspondence regarding this issue.
SSC JE Paper II Exam Pattern

Candidates applying for the post of Junior Engineer in the Border Roads Organization (BRO) must meet the required physical and medical standards. - Physical and Medical Standards: Candidates must meet the Physical Efficiency, Physical, and Medical Standards for Junior Engineer posts in BRO.
- Post-Allocation: No changes will be allowed if a candidate does not meet the standards after post-allocation. Failure to qualify leads to cancellation.
- Re-Allocation: The SSC will not re-assign posts if the candidature is canceled.
- Eligibility: Only male candidates are eligible for Junior Engineer posts in BRO.
