SSC Selection Posts Information
The Syllabus and pattern for the SSC Selection Posts Exam have been released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on their official website.
- SSC Selection Posts Exam will be conducted in 2 Stages – Exam (Written Test) and Document Verification.
- SSC Selection Posts Exam is a written test of MCQ-type questions for 200 marks (100 questions with two marks each).
- The time allotted for the test is 1 hour. For every unattempted question, there will be no negative marking.
- 0.50 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- The syllabus consists of English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, and General Awareness (25 questions from each topic).
After conducting the examination, the SSC will soon publish the SSC Selection Posts Result for the exams. Also, category-wise, SSC Selection Posts cut-off marks for each level (Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduate). Selection Process for SSC Selection Posts
- After the release of Cut off marks for the SSC Selection Posts Result, a notification (in PDF format under result tab) will be released mentioning the name of the candidate’s level-wise called for the document verification round.
- For certain posts, Skill Test is conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Candidates who qualify for the written exam cut-off will be called for Skill Test. The different types of Skill tests are Typing Test, Data Entry Test, and Computer Proficiency Test. It’s a qualifying test and not to be considered for the final selection process.
