Success Story of Mansi Singh

My name is Mansi Singh. I am from Sitapur, a small town near Lucknow. I have done my graduation in physics from Gargi College, University of Delhi and post-graduation in electronics from Lucknow University. I have cleared the LIC Assistant 2019 from Lucknow division and RRB clerk.

After completing my post-graduation in 2018 I started preparing for banking exams. I cleared almost all prelims of 2018 except SBI PO, RRB PO, and IBPS Clerk 2019 but was out in mains. The reason was the lack of practice of mains level questions.

Therefore, in 2019 I purchased Oliveboard yearly plan and made it a resolution to give each and every mock test in the package. This really helped me and I was able to clear SBI PO main but was not able to make it in the final list.

I also missed the SBI clerk 2019 by a margin. But finally got selected in RRB clerk and LIC assistant 2019.

I have shared the section-wise preparation strategy that helped me crack the exam and get the desired job.

Reasoning Preparation

In prelims, it’s about puzzles and miscellaneous but their level is simple, so try to make maximum questions in 20 mins. But in mains, you have to deal with logical as well so practice questions from the mock test and also high-level puzzles provided in that. (Practice High-level questions from reasoning sections, just like Mansi.)

Quant Preparation

For this, first, clear basics and then move to high-level questions. Since it was my weakest section I tried to solve 2 marks questions with full accuracy. The free quant sectional test helped me a lot.

GA Preparation

For this read current affairs regularly along with solving quizzes. Oliveboard’s Monthly BOLT was really helpful.

English Preparation

Read a lot. This will help you in the mains examination because grammar rules are asked mostly in prelims and not in mains. (Solve New pattern English questions and ace this section.)
