Union Cabinet approves a proposal to divest equity shares of 4 PSUs – MMTC, NMDC, BHEL & MECON, in Neelachal Ispat Ltd. Neelachal Ispat is a joint venture, in which 4 CPSEs & state PSUs of Odisha, IPICOL & OMC, are shareholders.
Paytm launched all-in-one QR for merchants across the country to enable businesses to accept unlimited payments through Paytm wallet, Rupay Cards & all UPI based payment apps directly into their bank accounts at 0% fees.
IBM has appointed Sandip Patel as its new MD for India & South Asia Operations. He succeeded Karan Bajwa. IBM is nicknamed Big Blue.
Cabinet has approved conferring the status of Institution of National Importance to a cluster of Ayurvedic institutions at Gujarat Ayurved University Campus in Jamnagar.
