3. GIC Notification 2021 – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

STREAM/   DISCIPLINE	NO. OF VACANCIES	MINIMUM   EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
FINANCE- CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS	15	Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks for General & OBC candidates (55% for SC/ST candidates)   and candidates should have passed the Final examination of Institute of    Chartered Accountants of    India. Candidates should provide their membership    number and the same    will be verified    with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
GENERAL	15	Graduation in    any discipline with minimum 60% marks for General & OBC candidates (55% for SC/ST candidates).
LEGAL	4	Bachelor’s   Degree in Law recognized by Bar council of India for the purpose of enrolment as an Advocate with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC   candidates (55% for SC/ST candidates).
INSURANCE	10	Graduation in    any discipline with minimum 60% marks for General & OBC candidates (55%    for SC/ST candidates)    and candidates should    possess Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in    General Insurance/ Risk    Management/ Life Insurance/ FIII/ FCII.
TOTAL	44

4. GIC Notification 2021 – Selection Procedure/Exam Pattern 

Candidates would be selected based on the performance in Written test followed by Group Discussion & Interview. The total marks in the Written Test, Group Discussion & Interview shall be 200

Candidates who clear the Online Test will be called for Interview & Group Dicussion Phase of Selection.

• Minimum qualifying marks in the online test – 60% for General & OBC and 50% for SC /ST.
• Minimum qualifying marks for the overall selection process (online test, GD and Interview) – 60% for General & OBC and 50% for SC /ST.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks allotted to the question in Objective Papers. Tests will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi except test of English Language other than Hindi Officer.

Interview

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the online examination will subsequently be called for group discussion and Interview to be conducted by the Corporation.

5. GIC Notification 2021 – Salary & Compensation 

The Basic Pay for the GIC 2021 Scale 1 Officers or Assistant Managers would be Rs 32, 795/- per month, in addition to other allowances and benefits. The total gross salary will be approximately Rs. 59,000 Rs per month.
