Indian Navy Sailing Championship (INSC) – 2023

The highly anticipated Indian Navy Sailing Championship (INSC), the largest of its kind, is scheduled to occur in Mumbai from November 5th to November 9th, 2023. The Indian Naval Watermanship Training Centre (INWTC) in Mumbai, known for its top-notch sailing facilities, is all set to host over 100 participants from various naval branches. These sailors will demonstrate their sailing prowess across five boat classes and three racing formats.

About Indian Navy Sailing Championship (INSC)

INSC is an annual event organized by the Indian Naval Sailing Association (INSA), located at Naval Headquarters, aimed at promoting the involvement of naval personnel in competitive sailing.

INSC 2023 Edition

In this edition of INSC, teams from the three Naval Commands, consisting of officers, cadets, and sailors (including Agniveers), will be participating.

The racing at INSC will encompass three of the most popular sailing formats. Fleet Racing will involve the ILCA-6 class boat for women, the ILCA-7 class boat for men, and the BicNova class board for open windsurfing. Team Racing will be conducted using the Laser Bahia class boat, while Match Racing will feature the J24 class boat.
