Candidates must be aware of the age limit criteria before applying for the SSC CHSL 2023. We have mentioned below the age limit in detail:
Minimum Age Limit:18 years. Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years as of 01 August 2023 to fulfill the age limit criterion.
Maximum Age Limit: 27 years. The upper SSC CHSL age limit is capped at 27 years. However, age relaxation is given to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
Note: The crucial date for age reckoning is fixed as 01-08-2023 in accordance with the provisions. The age limit for the posts is 18-27 years i.e. Candidates born not before 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2005 are eligible to apply.
SSC CHSL 2023 – Age Relaxation
The SSC CHSL age relaxation is permissible according to exam rules. The main points of relaxation on the upper age limit are listed below. The following are the upper age limits for various reserved categories of candidates applying for SSC CHSL 2023 recruitment:

| 10 | Central Government civilian employees who have rendered 3 or more years of regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of online applications. | Up to 40 years of age |
