Exam Details

In Preparation for the Exam, Syllabus plays an essential role. The Karnataka PDO Syllabus is very essential to prepare for the examination. There are two papers to be attempted. Paper-1 comprises 100 questions on general knowledge, general Kannada, and general English. These are marked out of 200. Paper-2 consists of 100 questions on rural development and panchayat raj carrying 200 marks.

  • Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Knowledge: Taxes and Fees, Grants and Funds of Grama Panchayats, Constitution of Taluk Panchayat, Inspection and Supervision, Special Rural Development Programmes, Constitution of Grama Panchayat, Roles and Responsibilities, Powers of Grama Panchayats, Adhyaksha, Upadhyaksha, The team of workers of Grama Panchayat, Financial Control, and Audit, and Miscellaneous.
