OPSC Civil Services Posts- Group A Positions

Odisha Administrative Service: An Administrative Service Manager oversees an organization’s administrative operations & services. 

  • His primary responsibilities are mail distribution, record keeping, and office maintenance. He is also in charge of supervising the work of the staff and ensuring that the company runs smoothly.
  • Administrative service is in charge of creating departmental goals and deadlines and guiding and coordinating any company’s administrative service operations.
  • Analyzing, creating, implementing, and monitoring administrative department systems and controls is another responsibility of administrative service.

Odisha Police Service: A police officer’s job is to keep the peace in their community by safeguarding citizens & their property, preventing crime, lowering crime fear, and increasing the quality of life.

Odisha Finance Service: Finance service offices’ primary responsibilities include coordinating with clients, gathering all necessary information, and successfully resolving issues. 

  • Maintain an understanding of and interpretation of all bank policies & procedures and adherence to all ethics & conducts.
  • They are in charge of maintaining a thorough understanding of all services/goods and keeping all requests up-to-date on development requirements.
  • One of their main responsibilities is to work with the branch manager to assess calls, establish sales tactics, and provide an accurate report on the current branch emphasis.
  • Participate in lead generation and networking groups, and keep up to date on competing products to establish effective strategies.

OPSC Civil Services Posts- Group B Positions

Odisha Co-operative Service:  All documentation of the Managing Committee must be kept in custody by the service cooperatives. The service cooperatives must conduct formal communication on behalf of the Managing Committee. They are in charge of keeping the Board’s accounts, & to exercise all such powers and to perform all other responsibilities as the Managing Committee may delegate to him.

Odisha Revenue Service: Officers in charge of revenue service will be primarily responsible for the accurate assessment and timely collection of all city taxes. He oversees the activities of both the Revenue Department’s outside and inside workers. In terms of office work, they are responsible for the following tasks. Postings, transfers, leave, and retirement benefits.

Odisha Taxation and Accounts Service: Preparing tax payments, Calculating and tracking tax returns, Completing tax returns on a quarterly and annual basis, Organising and keeping the company’s tax database up to date, recommending tax techniques that are in line with the company’s objectives are some of the duties of the Tax and accounts officers.
