What educational qualification is required for RBI Grade B?

Candidates must have a valid degree from a recognised university. For the General post, a graduation degree with 60% marks is sufficient; however, higher qualifications can also be considered.

  • Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks (General/OBC/EWS)
  • 50% marks required for SC/ST/PwBD candidates
  • Postgraduate degree allowed with 55% marks
  • DEPR stream: Master’s in Economics, Finance or related fields
  • DSIM stream: Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, AI, ML etc.

How many attempts are allowed in RBI Grade B exam?

RBI limits the number of attempts only for certain categories. General and EWS candidates have a fixed limit of 6 attempts. The details of the allowed limits are as follows:
