SIDBI Grade B Eligibility Nationality
A candidate who wants to appear for SIDBI Grade B Exam must fulfil the eligibility criteria from the following:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire), Ethiopia, or Vietnam, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Candidates in categories (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) above must have an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India. Such candidates can appear for the SIDBI exam/interview, but the final offer of appointment will only be made once the required eligibility certificate has been issued by the Government of India.

For officers in Grade ‘B’: Candidates must be between 25 and 33 years of age as per the SIDBI Grade B Eligibility.
(Candidates must have been born on or after November 8, 1991, and on or before November 9, 1999 [both dates inclusive] to be eligible to apply.)
