- Data processing- This entails a desk job under the supervision of the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) i.e. you will have to perform a lot of clerical responsibilities such as preparing extensive reports related to data for the numerous government organizations/ministries/ departments. The position of a Junior Statistical Investigator is an entry-level position under the Subordinate Statistical Cadre (SSC).
