SSC CHSL Study Plan – Tier 1 Exam Pattern
The SSC CHSL Tier I Exam is a crucial computer-based test. This exam serves as the initial phase for candidates aspiring to secure clerical and data entry positions in government departments.
- Mode of Examination: The exam is conducted online.
- Duration: Candidates have 60 minutes to complete the exam, whereas candidates eligible for scribe will be given 80 minutes to complete the test.
- Total Questions: There are 100 questions in the exam.
- Total Marks: The exam is for a total of 200 marks.
- Marks per Question: Each question is worth 2 marks.
- Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, 0.50 marks will be deducted.
- Type of Questions: The questions are multiple-choice (MCQ).
