- A total time of 60 minutes is there.
- The Tier-I Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple-choice questions only. The questions will be set in English and Hindi for Parts II, III & IV.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern
The SSC CHSL Tier-II exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) with 135 questions, carrying a total of 405 marks. Each correct answer gives 3 marks, and there is a penalty of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
In addition to the CBT, candidates applying for Data Entry Operator (DEO) positions will take a Skill Test, while those applying for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) positions will need to complete a Typing Test.
