The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination to fill the Group- B and Group- C vacancies in the Government Departments. The notification for the SSC JSO examination is expected to be released sometime in January 2022. The Tier I examination is expected to be conducted in May 2022. The candidates must clear Tier I to qualify for the next stage. The SSC JSO Answer Key will be released for both Tier I and Tier II after each examination is concluded. Process To Download SSC JSO Answer Key For Tier I Examination 

The Commission will release the answer key once the process of the examination is over. The candidates can evaluate their performance on the basis of the answer key. The candidates should follow the below procedure to access/download the Answer Key. 

Step 1:Visit the official website.

Step 2: Go to the results option available on the menu bar. From the drop-down list, Select the Answer Key option.

Step 3: Login using your Roll Number and Password.

Step 4: Select the examination name: SSC CGL 2022 Tier I

Step 5: The answer key will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Download the SSC JSO Answer Key

Step 7: Take a printout for future reference. 

Step 8: Cross-check your answers with the help of the Answer Key.

Calculating Estimated Marks From SSC JSO Answer Key For Tier I

The Tier I examination has a multiple choice question (MCQ) paper. All questions carry 2 marks each.  Negative marking is applicable. 0.50 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Once the answer key is released, the candidates can use the same to calculate their marks and predict their scores. The candidates should follow the steps given below to calculate their estimated marks.

Step 1: Check your answers with the answer key provided by the Commission. 

Step 2:  Calculate the sum of correct answers.

Step 3: Multiply the sum of correct answers with 2.

Step 4: Multiply the sum of wrong answers by 0.50.

Step 5: Now, subtract the sum of Step 4 from step 3. The remaining is your estimated score. 

Process To Download SSC JSO Answer Key For Tier II Examination 

Step 1: Visit the official website. 

Step 2: Go to the results option available on the menu bar. From the drop-down listSelect the Answer Key option.

Step 3: Login using your Roll Number and Password.

Calculating Estimated Marks From SSC JSO Answer Key For Tier II

The Tier II examination has a multiple choice question (MCQ) paper. All questions carry 2 marks each.  Under this examination, paper 1 has a negative marking of 0.25 mark, whereas the other papers have a negative marking of 0.50 marks. The candidates should follow the steps given below to calculate their estimated marks.

Step 1: Check your answers with the answer key provided by the Commission.

Step 2:  Calculate the sum of correct answers for Paper 1 and the other papers and Multiply with 2.

Step 3: Multiply the sum of wrong answers for Paper 1 by 0.25.

Step 4: Multiply the sum of wrong answers for the rest of the papers by 0.50.

Step5: Add the sum of Step 3 and step 4. 

Step 5: Now, subtract Step 5 from step 2. The remaining is your estimated score. 

Compare your expected score with the cut off to know your qualification status.

Note: In case you have any doubt or objection regarding any answer/ answers in the answer key provided by the Commission, you can raise the issue. You can upload the question and the evidence/ answer in the online link given on the official website. Objections raised through any other means will not be entertained.

The Process To Raise An Objection For SSC JSO Answer Key 

Step 1: Visit the official website and Login by providing the required credentials (User ID and Password)

Step 2: Click on the payment option (Rs.100/- per question). You will be redirected to the payment page.

Step 3: Make the required payment. 

Step 4: Enter your name, mobile number, question number, and the correct answer according to you and mention the reason in 300 characters.

Step 5: Click on the Submit button.

Important:

  • Candidates need to pay Rs.100 rupees for every objection raised by them. 
  • The candidates must also provide proof to justify their objections.
  • Once the Commission receives all the challenges by the candidates, it will evaluate the answers and, after that, release the SSC CGL Final Answer Key along with the SSC CGL Question Paper.
