Success Story Of Aman Samrat Khare | Cleared SBI PO 2020

Read the success story of Aman Samrat Khare, who started his preparation journey in 2016 but left his preparation for 2 years in between as he tried to study for the state pcs exam. He cleared back to back exams in 2020 as he stuck to rigorous practice and mock tests.

Inspiring Success Story of Aman Samrat Khare

I am Aman Samrat Khare from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. I have done B.Tech in Computer Science from SRM University. My hobbies are writing, drawing, photography, and traveling.

The journey started in 2016 when I passed out from my college. I was preparing for the job and cleared around 7 exams for campus recruitment but unfortunately, I was not able to crack the interview so I shifted my focus to Bank exams as it has a very fast recruitment process. The first bank exam I appeared in was SBI PO which I was not able to crack so I started looking for strategies on how to crack bank exams. After looking for the strategy, I analyzed mock tests for mistakes that I was making.

Next was IBPS PO, I cleared IBPS PO pre but missed mains as I didn’t clear the sectional cutoff of maths. Next in line was RRB PO. I cleared pre and mains but missed the final list with 0.25 marks and it was so depressing. I attempted IDBI PO and was selected but didn’t join it as there were privatization talks and 4yrs bond. After this I left preparation for 2 yrs, I studied for state pcs on which I failed and there’s a different story for it. Again I started bank exams preparation in December 2019 and the first exam was RBI assistant in which I was not able to clear prelims.

I was disappointed so one of my friends and I decided to prepare together and with rigorous practice and mock tests I was able to clear every exam I appeared in 2020:

  • SBI JA
  • SBI PO
  • RRB PO
  • RRB CLERK ( 79/80)
  • IBPS CLERK, SEBI PRELIMS, RBI GRADE B PRELIMS.

And with this, I would like to conclude my story.

Subject-wise strategy

English – Daily editorial and vocabulary (at least 5) practice reading comprehension and miscellaneous as these will help you score more.

Reasoning – Daily practice of Puzzle pre + mains syllogism and inequality from the start. For miscellaneous, go chapter-wise and repeat. Start preparing for mains from the first day, as you will not get enough time after clearing prelims.

Aptitude – Practice scoring questions like quadratic equations, simplification, approximation, and number series daily (at least 10 each). For miscellaneous, prepare chapter-wise after completing a chapter, re-attempt all the questions.

Role of Oliveboard In Aman’s Success

Mock tests and YouTube GA sessions were very helpful.

Tips for aspirants

One thing I want to tell students is NEVER SETTLE and always be positive, “Because if there is a way in, then there is always a way out.”
