Hello, my name is Kumar Saurabh and I come from the city of nawabs, Lucknow. I did my graduation in Philosophy from Hindu College, DU, and post-graduation in Sociology from IGNOU.

I started my preparation in January 2020 and SBI JA was the 1st banking exam that I took. The one thing that I followed during the lockdown was consistency which finally paid off in the form of Rank 1 in SBI JA mains. My basic strategy was to first have conceptual clarity and then move on to taking mock tests. Practice was the main mantra for my success which also eventually resulted in getting selected in IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 and SBI PO.

Subject-wise Strategy of Kumar Saurabh

Quants:- For mathematics, I referred to the book by Arihant. 

Reasoning:- For reasoning, I practiced puzzles from the Oliveboard puzzle mania. 

English:- I did not prepare anything for English but just read the English newspapers. 

General Awareness:- For GA, I followed 2 sources.

Computer:- For the computer, I referred to the Oliveboard bolt.

Interview:- For the interview I did not prepare anything, just read basic banking concepts.

Saurabh’s Tips to Aspirants

The most basic and the most important tip is consistency. Apart from that practice would help you all to solidify your concepts. Also, first try to clear your concepts even if it takes a little more time and, then take the mock tests.
