Know more about Nikita

Hello everyone, I am Nikita Srivastava and today I am going to share my success story. I started my preparation from July 2017 after I completed my B.tech from computer science stream. Believe me guys, it was a journey full of ups and downs.

So in my first attempt I cleared the preliminary phase of all the examination including SBI, RRB and Nationalized Banks but failed to clear Mains. Failing in all the Mains exams after clearing the prelims was disheartening for me but I did not lose hope and decided to start preparing again with better strategy. So, then I analysed what mistakes did I make in the Mains of all these exams and formulated my preparation strategy in a better way.

So I did few changes like covering my weak areas initially and then practicing the strong ones again and again. I also focused more on practice in order to balance my speed and time.

Trust me guys, time management in such competitive exams plays an important role as every mark in these exams can be a game changer. Moreover, as I cleared all the prelims, I knew that my main focus should be on the Mains exam. Then came my second attempt, I again appeared with more devotion and passion. In my second attempt I cleared IBPS RRB Assistant and was allotted Purvanchal Bank.

As far as Quants is concerned, I first cleared my basics from RS Agarwal and then gave test from Oliveboard on a regular basis. Just covering the syllabus blindly without enough of practice will take you nowhere, so always focus a lot on practicing whatever you study. For reasoning I only selected Oliveboard test series and gave the tests on a regular basis.

I read The Hindu newspaper for improving my vocab and Grammar part. It is very important to read some newspaper daily in order to improve your English as well as GK section. For general awareness I read newspapers to keep myself updated and opted mock tests and monthly quizzes from Oliveboard. The tests provided by Oliveboard was sufficient for my complete preparation and helped me to track my performance on a regular basis. At last I want to thank Oliveboard for providing us the platform to make our dream come true.

I hope my journey will help other aspirants in their preparation. All the Best Guys!
