Hyundai Join hands with Aptiv

South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai joins hands with Dublin based auto part company Aptiv to make Self Drive cars.

They will be in a 50:50 partnership in this joint venture. The total project is expected to cost around $400 billion.

ECI appoints 2 special officers to monitor Expenditure

Election Commission of India has appointed 2 ex- IRS officers as special Expenditure observers for the upcoming elections in the Legislative assembly of Maharashtra.

Ex- IRS officers are Ms. Madhu Mahajan and Mr. B Murali Kumar.

They will ensure that the funds are being utilized in a sanity manner and ensure that strict and effective action is undertaken to enforce the action.

Ms. Madhu Mahajan will be based out of Mumbai and Mr. B Murali Kumar will be based out of Pune. They will monitor that the abuse of money is not being carried out.

They will be working with the Chief Election Officer.

Government to open up New college in Leh

The central government has announced the opening up of a new medical college in the Leh District of Ladakh region on 23rd Sep 2019.

The project will be handled by The Health and Medical Education Department.

They have prepared a detailed report for the construction and the process carryout.

The Detailed Project Report will be submitted to the Ministry within 2 to 3 days.

The initial allocation for the project will INR 350 crore. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is planning to open up at least 75 more colleges throughout the country.

HDFC Bank plans to Organize Grameen Loan Melas

HDFC has plans to organize 1000 Grameen loan melas over the tenure of the next 6 months.  They will be covering more than 300 districts and around 6000 villages as a part of this scheme.

There will be a central mela for 5-6 villages connected nearby.

Auto Loans, Agricultural Loans, two-wheeler loans will be covered in this scheme. HDFC has planned to educate the locals about the Banking services and its benefits.

Pine Labs ties up with Federal Bank

Pine Labs has tied up with Federal Bank to offer debit card EMI’s option to the customers of Federal Bank instantly.

Currently Federal Bank caters to around 57 lakhs customer who holds debit card.

Pine Labs already has a tie-up with Axis Bank, SBI, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank to help avail the customers an EMI on debit card.
