An 8 member team while heading towards a post to rescue a person who wasn’t well got stuck by the avalanche midway. 4 Army personnel and 2 civilians were killed due to extreme hypothermia after getting buried under avalanche snow.

Maharashtra Government Formation: NCP silent on Collaboration with Shiv Sena

National Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar who met Sonia Gandhi on Monday regarding the government formation talks claims that they did not discuss the government formation. NCP, INC, and ShivSena are in talks of formation of government in Maharashtra.

Parliament Proceedings: Rajya Sabha pays tribute to 5 leaders

In a departure from parliamentary norms, Rajya Sabha allowed many leaders from various parties, instead of just the chairman of the House, to pay tributes to 5 parliamentarians. The Departed leaders included Arun Jaitley, Ram Jethmalani, Jagannath Mishra, Sukhdev Singh Libra, and Gurudas Dasgupta.

Cartosat-3 will be launched on Nov 25 with13 US nanosatellites

Cartosat-3, an advanced earth imaging and mapping satellite, will be flown on Nov 25 on the PSLV-C47 vehicle, which is subject to weather conditions. This launch will also be carrying 13 US nanosatellites to be placed in polar orbits.
