NHPC & RITES Signs MoU to Construct Railway Siding for Dibang Multipurpose Project

NHPC Limited, a leading hydropower company in India, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RITES, a Miniratna Schedule ‘A’ Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways. The MoU pertains to the establishment of a railway siding at Pasighat, located in Arunachal Pradesh. This infrastructure development is intended to support NHPC’s ambitious 2,880 MW Dibang Multipurpose Project.

On the 21st of August 2023, the MoU was officially signed at the NHPC Corporate Office in Faridabad.
