The RRB ALP selection process 2025 will be released along with the RRB ALP notification for 2025. Based on last year’s selection process the exam is conducted in two stages: CBT 1 and CBT 2. As per the latest notice by the board, the RRB ALP CBT 2 examination is scheduled to happen between 19th March – 20th March 2025. Candidates who qualify for the tests move on to the next stages: the CBAT and Document Verification. RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2025

The RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2025 outlines the structure and stages of the examination process for the Assistant Loco Pilot position. The selection process consists of multiple stages:

Railway ALP CBT 2 Exam Pattern

• The Second Stage of CBT will consist of two parts: Part A and Part B.
• Part A will have questions on Maths, Reasoning, Basic Science and engineering, and Current affairs.
• There will be a total of 100 questions to be solved in 90 minutes for Part A whereas Part B will consist of questions on Relevant Discipline/Trade and will have 75 questions to be solved in 60 minutes.
• Part B will be of qualifying nature only whereas the marks of Part A will decide the progress of the candidates to the next stages of the selection process.

Railway ALP CBAT Exam Pattern

The third stage of the RRB ALP Selection Process is the Computer-Based Aptitude Test. In this stage, candidates are evaluated on their critical thinking skills. There is no negative marking in this round, so candidates must have a strong RRB ALP preparation strategy to achieve better scores.

• Test Objective: The Computer Based Aptitude Test is designed to assess the cognitive abilities and decision-making skills of candidates applying for the Assistant Loco Pilot position.
• Qualifying Score: Candidates must score at least 42 marks to pass this round. There are no exceptions or relaxations, so it is crucial to meet this requirement.
