The RRB ALP Exam Pattern as per the RRB ALP Recruitment process consists of the following phases

CBT Stage 2 Exam Pattern
- The Second Stage of CBT will consist of two parts: Part A and Part B.
- Part A will have questions on Mathematics, Reasoning, Basic Science and engineering, and Current affairs.
- There will be a total of 100 questions to be solved in 90 minutes for Part A whereas Part B will consist of questions on Relevant Discipline/Trade and will have 75 questions to be solved in 60 minutes.
- There will be 1/3rd negative marking in the first two rounds.
- Part B will be of qualifying nature only whereas the marks of Part A will decide the progress of the candidates to the next stages of the selection process.

Stage 3 CBAT Exam Pattern
Stage 3 of the RRB ALP is a Computer-based aptitude test or CBAT. It does not have any negative marking. The candidate needs to score 42 marks in each of the test batteries. For final selection, 70% weightage will be given to the second CBT and 30% to CBAT.
Stage 4 Document Verification
In this stage, candidates who have cleared the evaluation process will be asked to appear for document verification which will be the final step in the selection process.
