How to Make Corrections to UPTET Certificate
In the rare case that there is incorrect information printed on the UPTET certificate, candidates have a period of 2 years to initiate their correction process for the same. The following steps have to be followed to make corrections to the UPTET certificate-
- Payment of Fee- Pay ₹500/- in Demand Draft through any nationalised bank to the issuing authority.
- Application to issuing authority- Candidates have file their request for correction to the Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh, 23 Allenganj Prayagraj.
Note: The correction process will only be done for any naming errors, ie. name of the candidate, parent/guardian’s name, etc.
Validity of UPTET Certification
The UPTET marks scored by the candidate are valid for a period of 5 years. Candidates who get UPTET certified can then proceed to apply for various teaching positions in Uttar Pradesh State Schools. While the marks have a validity of 5 years, the UPTET certification itself has lifetime validity.
