CLAT

• CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is a national level entrance exam administered by the Consortium of NLUs and the Bar Council of India for admission to law programs such as LLB/ BBA LLB/ B.Sc LLB/ LLM.
• It is an offline exam of 2 hours with 120 – 150 questions.
• The candidates should have obtained at least 45 percent in their 10 plus 2 exams. On the other hand, the candidates who belonged to reserved groups need to obtain a 40% minimum score.
• The exam is open to everyone of any age.

LSAT

• The LSAT exam, namely the Law school admission test, is conducted by the Law school admission Council (LSAC ) for various courses such as Bcom LLB, BA LLB, LLB, LLM, etc. 
• This exam is held twice a year and is an online exam.
• The total time duration is 2 hours and 20 minutes.
• The candidates should have obtained at least 45 percent in their 10 plus 2 exams from a recognized board.
• Candidates for LLM programs must have completed their graduation with at least a 45 percent score from a recognized university before taking the LSAT test.
• There is no upper age limit for taking the test.

DU LLB Entrance exam

• The National testing agency conducts DU LLB.
• It is an online exam.
• The total time duration is 2 hours.
• Candidates who intend to take the DU LLB entrance exam must have received at least a 50% grade in their undergraduate or postgraduate studies from a recognized university.
• There will be some relaxation when it comes to the minimum aggregate score. For OBC applicants, a minimum of 45% is necessary, whereas, for SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 40% is required.
• There is no minimum age requirement for the DU LLB entrance exam.

SET SLAT

• Symbiosis International administers the ET SLAT, or Symbiosis Law Admission Test, a national-level entrance exam for law programs.
• It is only held once a year for admission to one of the four Symbiosis Law Schools.
• The SET SLAT is an online exam that lasts 90 minutes.
• Candidates who intend to take the SET SLAT test must have completed their 10 plus 2 with a minimum aggregate of 45 percent from a recognized board.
• Reserved category candidates will be given a 5% reduction and will need to score at least 40% to be considered.

AP LAWCET

• AP LAWCET is an entrance test organized by Krishnadevaraya University and is conducted at the state level.
•  It is conducted only once a year for law courses.
• The total time duration of the exam is 90 minutes, and it is conducted online.
• Candidates must have completed 10 plus 2 or graduate with at least 45% marks from a recognized university or Board. 
• There is no upper age limit for taking the exam, but the minimum age limit for the exam is 21 years.

TS LAWSET

• The TS LAWSET or the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam administered by Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education.
•  The exam is taken only once a year and is given in both English and Telugu.
• The total time duration of the exam is 90 minutes, and it is conducted online.
• Candidates for the three-year LLB program must have graduated from a recognized university with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and should have at least 45 percent marks.
• For a five-year LL.B. program, candidates must have received a minimum of 45 percent in their 10 plus 2 from a recognized board.
• The TS LAWCET entrance test has no age restrictions.

PU LLB

• The Punjab University LLB entrance exam is held for admission to three-year LLB programs to the Department of Law and constituent colleges’ programs.
• This exam takes place in three different languages: English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
• It is held only once a year.
• The total time duration of the exam is 90 minutes, and it is conducted offline.
• Candidates must have completed their 10  plus 2 with a minimum of 45 % marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
• For Reserved category candidates, there will be a 5% relaxation, and they will need to score at least 40% to be eligible for the exam.
• There are no age restrictions for this exam.

RULET (Rajasthan university legal admission test )

• Rajasthan University Legal Admission Test is held by Rajasthan university once a year.
•  This exam is held in offline mode for shortlisting the students.
• The total time duration of the exam is 2 hours.
• For being eligible the candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in 10 plus 2 from a recognized board. In the case of candidates who belonged to reserved categories, this percentage will be 45%. However, candidates who are not Rajasthan Residents need to obtain at least 60% in 10 plus 2 for being eligible.
• Students of any age can give this exam.

 LLB admissions procedure

• Candidates should go to the official website of the college they wish to join and discover whether that institution accepts entrance examinations.
•  After that, candidates must apply on the official website of the exam’s conducting authorities.
•  Candidates must study hard and perform well to pass the entrance exam.
•  The college authority will then issue a merit list on a specific date, listing the names of the candidates who will be eligible for admission to the institute’s LLB program.
•  If candidates’ names appear in the results, they should contact the respective college for seat allotment.
