CLAT (Common Law Admission Test)

The Consortium of National Law Universities conducts the CLAT examination annually. It one of the Top Law Entrance Exams in India and 104 colleges across the country participate in it. The courses offered are – BA LLB, B. Sc LLB, BBA LLB, B. Com LLB, BSW LLB, and LLM. CLAT 2022 will be held on 8th May 2022. The last date to register for the examination is 31st March 2022, and the application fee is Rs 4,000/- (Rs 3,500/- for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates). 

LSAT India (Law School Admission Test for India)

The Law School Admission Council conducts LSAT India biannually. Forty colleges across the country participate in these Top Law Entrance Exams in India. The courses 5-year LLB programmes, 3-year LLB, and LLM. It is an online national-level examination. Application for the January session is concluded. The May 2022 LSAT application will commence from 9th May 2022 over five days. The participants will be assessed on various aspects like reasoning, critical thinking skills, and others. 

AILET (All India Law Entrance Test)

The National Law University (NLU), Delhi, conducts the AILET annually. Much sought after by students, it stands amidst the Top Law Entrance Exams in India. The AILET 2022 application started on 17th January 2022 and will continue till 7th April 2022. The university will conduct the examination in offline mode on 1st May 2022. The courses offered are BA LLB and LLM. In all 7 colleges participating in this. The number of seats available is 107. 

MH-CET LLB 

The Government of Maharashtra State, Common Entrance test cell, Maharashtra, conducts the MH-CET for shortlisting the candidates for admission to different undergraduate courses. It is amongst the Top Law Entrance Exams in India. The MH-CET Law 2022 examination notification is expected to be released in the last week of January 2022. This offers 5 year and 3-year LLB courses. The MH-CET will be conducted through an online examination in the first week of July 2022. The successful candidates will get admission to different Government and private institutions.

Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) 

AP LAWCET examination is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. The exam is listed under the Top Law Entrance Exams in India and offers a 3-year LLB program and a 5-year integrated LLB program. The tentative date for the release of the examination notification is sometime in May 2022. The AP LAWCET is expected to be conducted in the 1st week of July 2022. Eligible candidates should keep checking the official website for further updates. 

Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) 

The Osmania University, Hyderabad, organize TS LAWCET. It is a state-level law entrance exam that offers 3 years/ 5 years LLB courses. The application process for the same is expected to begin sometime by March-end. The university will conduct the entrance examination in August 2022. These Top Law Entrance Exams in India will be held online. The successful candidates will be admitted to various Law colleges and institutions of Telangana state. 

Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) 

The Controller of Entrance Examinations, Kerala, conducts the KLEE state level exam for shortlisting the candidates for admission to different Law courses- LLB, Integrated LLB, and LLM.

Tentative Dates:

• Start of the Application process- LLB- 3rd week of July 2022
• Start of the Application process- Integrated LLB- 4th week of June 2022
• Start of the Application process- LLM- 4th week of January 2022

SLAT (Symbiosis Law School Admission Test) 

SLAT is yet another Top Law Entrance Exams in India conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The Board is yet to release the 2022 examination notification. If the previous year’s trend is followed, SLAT will be conducted in the first week of July 2022. Accordingly, the online application process will start in February 2022. We must keep in mind that this is a tentative date. Candidates should keep checking the official website for further updates as complete examination details will be available after the notification is issued.

DU LLB (Delhi University LLB Entrance Examination)

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the DU LLB entrance examination. The Delhi University LLB 2022 examination notification is expected to be released in the 3rd week of May 2022. The application process is expected to start sometime in 1st week of June 2022. The university offers 3-year law courses.

Cochin University of Science and Technology LLB 

Cochin University of Science & Technology conducts a university-level law entrance examination. Once released, the examination notification will be available on the official website of the examination board. CUSAT 2022 Application will start from the 2nd week of March 2022, and the examination will be held in the 3rd week of June 2022. 

ULSAT (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Law Studies Aptitude Test)

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun has released the ULSAT 2022 application form offering admission to BBA LLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons), LLM courses for the academic year 2022. The application form is available online and offline on the official website until 9th May 2022. ULSAT 2022 is expected to be conducted from 13th May to 15th May 2022.

ILSAT (ICFAI Law School Admission Test)

ICFAI Law School is likely to conduct ILSAT 2022 in the 1st week of August 2022. This is to offer admissions to aspiring candidates in undergraduate and postgraduate law courses. The application is expected to start sometime in the 3rd week of June 2022. Aspirants can make the application both in online and offline modes. 

AMU BA LLB

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is expected to release the notification for the law entrance exam sometime in January 2022. The AMU BA LLB 2022 application form will be available online at www.amucontrollerexams.com.
