1. List of Exams Postponed Due To COVID 19

I have listed down the list of 2020 bank & government exams postponed in India due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

1.1 SBI Clerk Mains 2020 Postponed

The SBI has released the notification on its official site on 1 March 2020 regarding the postponement of the Junior Associate or Clerk Exam. SBI has not declared the new exam date yet.

1.2 RBI Assistant Mains 2020 Postponed

The Reserve Bank of India has released a notice regarding the Postponement of Main Online Examination for the recruitment of Assistants in 2020. The exam was scheduled to take place on 29 March 2020 but due to the coronavirus, the exam is postponed until further notice.

1.3 NABARD Grade A 2020 Postponed

The prelims phase (Phase 1) of the NABARD Grade A 2020 exam got conducted on the 25th of February 2020 and the result for the same was announced on 23 March 2020. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, NABARD has not released the date for the conduct of the mains examination. Follow us here to know about the exam update.

1.4 SSC CHSL 2020 Postponed

SSC CHSL has released the official notification regarding the postponement of SSC CHSL Tier 1. The new exam schedule for SSC CHSL (10+2) 2019-20 exam will be announced soon by Commission. Candidates are advised to visit this page regularly for updates.

1.5 LIC Assistant Engineers & AO (Specialist Officer) Postponed

The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India has postponed the LIC AAO Specialist Officer and AE Phase-1 recruitment exam, which was earlier scheduled to take place on 4th April 2020.

1.6 SEBI Grade A 2020 Postponed

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, SEBI has also changed the schedule of the recruitment process. The revised schedule is as under:

2. Exam Postponed Lastest Updates

2.1 SSC Exams Latest Update

Reviewing the situation arising out of the Corona Virus. Scedules for conducting SSC CHSL 2019 (for remaining candidates), SSC JE Paper-I 2019, SSC Stenographer ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2019, Skill Test for SSC CHSL 2018 and examinations for the SSC CPO 2020 will be announced after the complete lifting of restrictions on travel by road/ train/ air, etc.

2.2 UPSC CSE Exam Latest Update

UPSC has postponed the UPSC CSE Prelims recruitment exam, which was earlier scheduled to take place on 31 st May 2020. The Commission decided that it will not be possible to resume interviews for the present.

The Commission held a special meeting on May 4, 2020, to review the situation after the second phase of the nation-wide lockdown due to COVID-19. Taking notice of the extension of restrictions, the Commission decided that it will not be possible to resume examinations and interviews for the present. The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2020, scheduled to be held on May 31, 2020, therefore, stands deferred. Since this examination also serves as the screening test for the Indian Forest Service Examination, the schedule for the Indian Forest Service Examination is also deferred. The situation will be reviewed again on May 20, 2020, and fresh dates for these examinations shall be notified on the UPSC website in due course.

The Commission has already deferred the following: (a) Personality test for remaining candidates for the Civil Services Examination, 2019;

(b) Notification for the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2020;

(c) Notification for the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2020;
(d) Notification for the Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2020 and

(e) the NDA & Naval Academy Examination, 2020.

As and when dates are decided for the deferred tests/examinations, it will be ensured that candidates are given a notice of at least 30 days.
