NRA CET Latest Update: The NRA CET is conducted to find qualified candidates for non-gazetted Group B & Group C positions in the federal government, state/local governments, and public sector banks. For numerous Group B & Group C examinations, the National Recruitment Agency &  the Common Eligibility Test operate as a uniform shortlisting test.

May 22, 2022	NRA gearing up to conduct computer-based online Common Eligibility Test (CET) for recruitment to Non-Gazetted posts by the year-end. Dr Jitendra Singh today said that there will be Common Eligibility Test (CET) for recruitment to Non-Gazetted posts from this year, and the first such test is being scheduled to be conducted before the year end. Initially the test will be conducted in 12 languages including Hindi and English and will later on add all the languages mentioned in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution, the Minister added. This will be a game-changer providing ease of recruitment to the job aspirants, with at least one exam centre in each district of the country.
September 11, 2021	Dr Jitendra Singh stated on September 17, 2021, that the NRA CET will feature two exam centres in Leh & Kargil, both of which are part of the Ladakh union territory. He also announced that starting in early 2022, the NRA Common Eligibility Test will be administered for employment in the central government. According to the most recent notification, the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2021 will be conducted on the 10th of October 2021. In the first quarter of 2022, the CET examination will be held. After the official CET portal is launched, exam dates will be announced. The National Recruitment Agency oversees the NRA CET exam recruitment procedure as well as hiring for the positions created to run the various offices. The officials have not yet declared an age limit.
July 6, 2021	The CET Test will be held in early 2022 to shortlist candidates for central government employment at the primary level. Union Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh announced just after the launch of the e-Book Civil List-2021 of IAS officers that the NRA  CET will likely be delayed until early 2022 due to the pandemic. The union minister also confirmed that the exam will be conducted at three levels Class 10th, Class 12th and Graduation This means that everyone who has completed Class 10, Class 12, or graduation is eligible to apply.
19 August 2020	The Union Cabinet meeting approved the National Recruitment Agency on this day.
24th August 2020	On August 24, 2020, the Indian government released a video on how youth are praising the government’s plan to establish a national recruitment agency since it will streamline the recruitment process and allow more employment opportunities to be explored. Another video describing the CET recruitment procedure and how women may simply apply for government employment was released on the same day.
