JKSSB Patwari Result- Examination, Cut Off Marks

On 26/03/2021, the Services Selection Board of the Jammu and Kashmir Government (JKSSB) has released a notification through Advertisement No.02 of 2021.  This has been put on its official website advertising 2311 vacancies.  Out of these vacancies, 142 vacancies are for the post of JKSSB Patwari.  Candidates can see the notification on the official website at http://www.ssbjk.org.in/Advt02of2021Posts.pdf. The board will release the JKSSB Patwari Result after the exams are over.

JKSSB Patwari Result: Examination

The JKSSB Patwari Examination is a two-part Examination.

• The first part is the Urdu Language Test.  Only candidates who clear this test will be allowed to move to the next stage.
• The second part is the Written Examination.
• To decide on the final cut off and final merit, the candidates’ marks in the Written Test/ Examination shall be normalized in case the need arises.

JKSSB Patwari Result: Cut Off Marks 

The JKSSB cut off plays a key role in the candidate reaching the Document Verification round. The cut off is based on several different factors, and these change from year to year.  Some of these factors are:

• The difficulty level of the Exam

• Number of stages in the process of recruitment

For the JKSSB Patwari examination, the Board decides the cut off separately for various candidates, such as SC/ ST, OBC, EWS, and General. A candidate’s selection is dependent on scoring marks equal to or more than the cut off mark decided by the Examination Board for that year. Any candidate who does not score marks as much as the declared cut off mark for that year will be considered to have failed the exam and will not be eligible for the next round of the selection process. JKSSB Patwari Final Merit List 2021

In the JKSSB selection process, there is the first stage of the Urdu language test.  Only candidates who clear the Urdu language test will be allowed to sit for the second round, which is the Written Test/ Examination. The result for both these tests is released separately by the Examination Board releases the result for both stages separately. Candidates who clear the Written Test/ Examination shall move to the document verification round, which is the final round of the recruitment process. 

A candidate whose documents are found in order will be declared as having cleared the Document Verification round. After the completion of Document verification of all the candidates who had cleared the Written Test/ Examination, the board has the task of drafting a final merit list that declares the names of all those candidates who had cleared the Document Verification stage. 

All candidates who have cleared the Document Verification stage and whose name is in the list created by the Board will enter the merit list, and the Board will consider them for the final allotment of the Patwari post.
