The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) determines the qualifying requirements for the state’s Group 1 Services Exam.

  • 53 years for SC/SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BC/BCM

Aspirants in their last year of study can also register for the TNPSC Group 1 Preliminary Test, however, they must provide proof of passing while registering for the Main stage of the test.

TNPSC Group 1 Application

The TNPSC application process is available online. To apply online, candidates must first visit the commission’s official website. Candidates should also be aware that TNPSC has made it necessary for them to provide their Aadhaar numbers when applying for the Commission’s examinations. Candidates’ fingerprints will be validated using biometric data from Aadhaar before they are permitted to appear for examinations in the future. Candidates must also present their school and graduation certificates to demonstrate that they have studied the Tamil language.
