The RRB JE syllabus is divided into two parts-

RRB JE 1^st Stage CBT

1. General Science

Chemistry, Life Sciences, Physics (Up to 10^th standard)

2. General Awareness

General technological and scientific developments, sports, environmental issues revolving around the world and India, Indian economy, Indian constitution and polity, history and culture of India involving the freedom struggle, Indian geography, current affairs knowledge.

3. Reasoning and General Intelligence

Statement- Assumptions and Arguments, directions, classification, analytical reasoning, differences and similarities, decision making and conclusions, data sufficiency and data interpretation, Venn diagram, jumbling, syllogism, relationships, mathematical operations, coding and decoding, number and alphabetical series, analogies.

4. Mathematics
