The RRB ALP CBT 2 exam pattern consists of Parts A and B. Part A consists of subjects like mathematics, mental ability, general science, and general awareness. On the other hand, part B contains subjects from a relevant trade. The total duration of the examination is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The RRB ALP CBT 2 exam pattern is given below for candidates:

- Only Part-A marks of CBT-2 will be considered for shortlisting, provided the candidate scores at least 35% in Part-B (qualifying in nature).
- Final merit will be prepared RRB-wise based on 50% weightage of CBT-2 Part-A marks and 50% weightage of CBAT scores. Candidates will then be shortlisted for Document Verification and Medical Examination according to vacancies and their preferences for zones and posts.
