SSC MTS Exam Pattern
The first phase of SSC MTS recruitment is the computer-based test. The exam pattern for the same is given below.

- Exam Structure: The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two sessions on the same day.
- Sessions: The two sessions are Session I and Session II, and both are mandatory.
- Session-I Duration: Candidates will have 45 minutes to complete Session-I. Once this time is up, Session-I will automatically close.
- Transition: Immediately after Session-I ends, Session-II will start.
- Session-II Duration: Session-II will also last for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, Session II will end, concluding the Computer Based Examination.
Negative Marking:
- Session-I: No negative marking will be applied.
- Session-II: Each incorrect answer will result in a deduction of one mark.
SSC MTS Admit Card 2024
The SSC MTS Admit Card 2024 for the Tier 1 exam has been released a week prior to the date of the SSC MTS 2024 exam. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of the SSC MTS.
Steps to download the SSC MTS Admit Card 2024
- Visit the official site of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC)
- Click on the SSC MTS Admit Card Download link
- Submit your login details such as Registration number and Date of birth
- Your admit card will appear on your computer screen
- Download and take a printout of your admit card.

SSC MTS Guidelines
Candidates are advised to reach the examination center at least 1 hour before the time mentioned on the admit card. Here is a list of items that need to be carried by the candidates to the examination center:
- Admission certificate
- Latest coloured passport-size photograph
- Photo bearing identity proof in original such as Passport, Driving License, PAN card, Aadhaar card, etc.
- Face mask
- Hand sanitizer (small bottle)
- Transparent water bottle
- Printout of COVID-19 Self Declaration Form provided with the Admission Certificate.

SSC MTS – COVID-19 Special Instructions
- One should follow social distancing norms and maintain a distance of 6 feet between two candidates.
- Hand sanitization will be provided to the candidates at the time of entry and inside the exam hall.
- Contactless candidate verification will be conducted at the exam centers.
- Ball pen and rough sheets will be provided to candidates.
- Candidates with any symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough, etc. will not be permitted entry into the examination venue.
- Candidates should move out of the exam center as per the social distancing norms.
