Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2023 – Eligibility Criteria

Nationality/Citizenship: Applicants must hold Indian citizenship.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized school board by the closing date of online application submission. However, relaxation is granted for specific categories such as bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc., of Delhi Police and sons of serving, deceased, retired police personnel, including Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police, who can have a minimum qualification of 11th pass.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 25 years. There are certain relaxations in the upper age limit:

Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) category candidates: Up to 5 years.
Other Backward Classes (OBC) category candidates: Up to 3 years.
Sportsmen of distinction who have represented a State at the National level or the Country at the International level in sports in the preceding three years: Up to 5 years.
Departmental candidates of Delhi Police (General category – up to 40 years, OBC – up to 43 years, SC/ST – up to 45 years).
Sons of serving, retired, or deceased police personnel/Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police: Up to 29 years.

Essential Requirement: For the post of Constable (Exe.) Male in Delhi Police, candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motorcycle or Car) on the date of Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT). A learner license is not acceptable.
