AP DSC School Assistant Exam Pattern 2024

The AP DSC School Assistant exam 2024 will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) as per the official notification. It is called the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) and conducted in a single stage. The MCQ questions will test candidates in their chosen teaching subjects in different languages.

  • The exam will be conducted in the form of a Computer-based Test (CBT) with objective-type questions.
  • The Written Test will be conducted in the medium as opted by the candidate in their application form.
  • For School Assistants (SAs), selection will be on the basis of combined marks secured in the Written Test (TRT) and APTET (20% weightage) except School Assistant (Physical Education).
  • For School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teachers (PETS), selection will be on the basis of combined marks secured in the Written Test (TRT), Physical Efficiency Test and APTET (20%) weightage.
  • There is no any negative marking in the written test.

Part IV of the AP DSC School Assistant exam pertains to the specific subject/discipline chosen by the candidate. Candidates have to select and apply for one of the subjects like Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, Social Studies, English etc. Based on their academic qualification and specialization, they need to thoroughly prepare the syllabus topics of their chosen subject.
