Dharmendra Pradhan and S. Jaishankar jointly launch Study in India Portal in New Delhi

In pursuit of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision to make India a global education hub, Union Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan and Union External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar together launched the Study in India Portal in New Delhi.

During the launch event, students from various countries like Russia, Thailand, Japan, Ethiopia, Ecuador, Kazakhstan, and the Republic of Korea, who are currently studying in India, presented souvenirs representing their cultures as a gesture of respect to the dignitaries.

About Study in India Portal

The Study in India Portal is a dedicated website that offers comprehensive information about Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in India.

It showcases various academic programs, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses, as well as courses in Indian Knowledge systems like Yoga, Ayurveda, and classical arts.
The portal provides details about academic facilities, research support, and other relevant information.
With the new provision, students can now apply to multiple institutes or courses of their choice through the website.
The portal also streamlines the student registration and visa application process, providing an integrated solution for international students.

Guided by the National Education Policy (NEP), the Study in India Portal aligns with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of making education accessible across borders.
