Do’s for the TNUSRB SI Exam
- Report to the exam venue strictly as per the time slot mentioned in the admit card. You should report at least 15 minutes before the reporting time indicated on the Call Letter. Why is this important? Late comers are not allowed to the exam and also it will create unnecessary stress when you haven’t reached the exam hall when the time for exam gets closer. Make sure you know how to reach the exam center to avoid confusion at the last minute.
- Carry all the necessary documents. Make sure you carry your admit card, photograph, an original ID Card and a photocopy of it.
- Follow the instructions provided at the venue. Making sure you stand in a line when asked to, keep your belongings where they are meant to are important. Your room number will be displayed outside the exam hall. Make sure you do not want to get called out at the venue.
- Revise any topic if you feel underprepared. With only a few days left for the exam, don’t go to the exam hall feeling unsure about any topic.
- Take one or more Mock tests. Mock Tests help you gain more confidence and help you know where you stand. Ensure you give atleast one TNUSRB SI Mock Test before you appear for the main exam.
Don’ts for the TNUSRB SI Exam
- Study anything new. Don’t study any new topics with just a few days before the exam. If needed revise a topic you have already studied.
- Over-stress yourself. A little amount of tension and anxiety before the exam is normal but if you feel overly stressed, ensure you have a way to calm yourself before and during the exam.
- Carry anything not allowed in the exam hall. Carrying the items mentioned by TNUSRB will result in the dismissal of you candidature. The items not allowed are mentioned below.
- Leave any question unanswered. Minimum passing marks is 35 per cent of the total marks. Take care to read all the questions and answer as many as possible.
Items not allowed in the Exam Hall
- Stationery items like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner.
- Eatable items opened or packed
- Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, Goggles, Handbags, Cap, etc.
