IBPS Clerk Renamed as Customer Service Associate, Check Official Notice

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced a significant change in the recruitment of Clerks under the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for 2024. Starting from April 1, 2024, the position previously called “Clerk” in Public Sector Banks has been renamed to “Customer Service Associate” (CSA). This change was introduced to better reflect the role of these employees in helping customers and handling various banking services. So, the CRP CLERKS–XIV will now be CRP-CSA-XIV.

• Updated Recruitment Process Name: The current CRP Clerks–XIV recruitment process will now be known as CRP-CSA-XIV, which stands for Common Recruitment Process for Customer Service Associates.
• Same Terms & Conditions: All other details, requirements, and processes mentioned in the original notification dated July 1, 2024, remain the same. Any additional updates will be posted only on the official IBPS website.
