Tasked with driving customer innovation and delivery excellence, Ms. Gupta is poised to play a pivotal role in advancing Microsoft’s dedication to delivering state-of-the-art solutions to its global customer base.

Unveiling GDC: Microsoft’s Delivery Hub

The Global Delivery Center (GDC) functions as the delivery arm of Industry Solutions Delivery, with its roots dating back to its establishment in Hyderabad in 2005. Over time, it has expanded its presence to include two additional locations: Bangalore and Noida. This multifaceted entity comprises four Centers of Excellence (CoE) specializing in app innovation, data and Artificial Intelligence, infrastructure and security, and business applications. Beyond this, the GDC oversees critical functions such as partner and delivery management, along with adoption management.

Aparna Gupta: A Leader with Vision

Bringing over 25 years of industry expertise and substantial Microsoft experience to her new role, Aparna Gupta is a seasoned leader. Joining Microsoft six years ago as the India lead for Commercial Software Engineering (now ISE), she has consistently made a positive impact on the business. Aparna’s profound understanding of Microsoft technologies positions her as a key player in aiding customers in planning and deploying forward-thinking solutions, particularly in the dynamic realm of artificial intelligence.

Aparna’s Key Roles at Microsoft: Global Delivery Center

Before assuming leadership at GDC, Aparna served as the Executive Director for Customer Success at Microsoft India & South Asia, guiding customers in extracting business value from their investments in the Microsoft cloud platform. Her prior roles include her position as General Manager, India for Commercial Software Engineering (CSE), where she facilitated high-impact organizations and developer communities in harnessing Microsoft’s intelligent cloud and edge.
