PNB SO Syllabus 2025

The Punjab National Bank (PNB) has officially announced 350 vacancies for the Specialist Officer (SO) recruitment for 2025. The online examination is scheduled to take place in April or May 2025. Candidates aiming to excel in this competitive exam must have a thorough understanding of the PNB SO Syllabus 2025 and the exam pattern. Selection Process for PNB SO 2025

The PNB SO 2025 Selection Process consists of two stages:

Online Examination & Personal Interview: Candidates must qualify in both rounds.
Direct Personal Interview: This applies if the number of applications is low for specific posts.

The final merit list will be prepared based on Professional Knowledge (Part II) marks in the Online Exam and the Interview round.

PNB SO Exam Pattern 2025

Understanding the exam pattern is crucial before starting preparation. The PNB SO Exam 2025 will be conducted online and will consist of four key sections: Reasoning Ability, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Professional Knowledge. Check the PNB SO Exam Pattern 2025 below.

The exam is divided into two parts.
A total of 150 questions will be asked for 200 marks.
The total exam duration is 120 minutes.
There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Candidates who clear the online written test will be shortlisted for the interview round, which carries 50 marks. The qualifying marks for the interview are 25 marks (50%) for general candidates and 22.5 marks (45%) for SC/ST candidates.
