The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board holds a state-level examination to employ qualified applicants for teaching positions in government schools at the primary and secondary levels. It is an offline examination conducted every year. A total of 1894 vacancies consisting of 390 vacancies of principal and 1504 vacancies of UP assistant teacher have to be filled. The exam is conducted in a single stage for Assistant Teacher and in two stages each consisting of a single paper for the post of Principal. Super TET Selection Process: Assistant Teacher 

The process involves two stages

  1. Written Test
  2. Final Merit List Creation

Final Super TET Selection Process: Assistant Teacher 

The final selection procedure for the SUPER TET (UP Assistant Teacher) 2021 includes a 10% weightage for total percentages acquired in high school, intermediate, graduation, and teacher training certificates. It also consists of 60% weightage for the Super TET written test. As a result, the overall cut-off will be calculated using the weighted average of the written exam and academic grades.

The process involves two stages

  1. Written Test

  • Only the Principal will be assigned to the Educational Management and Administration Section.
  • For the Principal Post exam, the paper will be based on Education Department related Acts, Recommendation, Rules, government order education policy, Order, Commission/Committee, scheme,  etc.
