Last 2 Months Preparation Plan for CLAT 2022

Candidates should begin by reviewing the CLAT curriculum and creating a timetable to cover the subjects in the first month.

  • Make sure you’ve gone over all of the topics thoroughly and that you’ve covered all of the principles.
  • This is not the time to start from scratch; instead, revise and practise.
  • You must follow a cycle of revision and practise, followed by revision and practise.
  • From now until the end of the month, you must take one mock test every day.

Keep your notes handy for the second month.

  • It is the test-takers’ obligation to solve previous year’s question papers and improve their speed and accuracy when answering questions.
  • In the previous month, a daily mock exam series had to be completed.
  • Newspapers must be read on a regular basis in order to be informed about current events.

Subject Wise Last 2 Months Preparation Plan for CLAT 2022

English Comprehension

Reading Comprehension

  • Make an effort to read as much as possible in order to improve your reading comprehension. Every day, read the newspaper and learn new terms.
  • Practice reading comprehension passages by reading articles from the books.

Vocabulary

  • Only two sources are available to help you prepare for this area. Begin with “Norman Lewis’s Word Power Made Simple.” You can complete two subjects every day, revise them, and then go on to the next.
  • Then, after you’re through, there’s a list of GRE 110 common vocabulary terms to begin with. You’ll just need to study 55–60 words or less. After you’ve completed them, you can continue on to GRE lists 333 and 888 words if you need more practise.

Para Jumbles

  • Practice at least 5–10 questions a day daily till the exam date.
  • For this section, you can prepare for Mocks and CAT Verbal modules.

Logical Reasoning

  • RS Aggarwal’s study on Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. This is the finest book for you to read in the next two months.
  • IndiaBix also allows you to practise online. It’s easy to use, provides formulae, and explains all of the solutions. You may go through it once to see whether you’re comfortable with it, or you can skip ahead if you’re not. Books are always there to assist you.
  • Since you’ve arrived at a critical juncture, focus on these subjects for the Analytical section first:
    • Solve at least 10 puzzles every day.
    • Solve at least 10-15 analogies every day.
    • Blood ties – Clarify your beliefs and begin practising 20–30 questions each day.
    • Coding and decoding in mathematics
  • For the verbal part, study from MK Pandey, as it has chapter wise explanation on the topics. However, you will see similar questions of verbal in both RS Aggarwal and MK Pandey. So, you can either buy both or choose between either of the two books.

Quantitative Techniques

  • You should complete at least 07 chapters from now on. When you finish these 07 chapters and take the mock test, you will notice a significant improvement. However, you should devote your entire attention to these seven chapters.
  • You can watch Oliveboard’s Youtube Channel where top educators have taught Quant section in the most comprehensive way.
  • Practice SI and CI questions because they are the most common types of inquiries.
  • Profit and Loss should not be overlooked because they are both equally vital.

  • CL’s courses will be sufficient for learning how to approach the questions.

  • After you’ve finished this section, you can take online sample examinations to evaluate your performance. If you score well in the mock examinations in this part, you should do well in the entrance exam as well.

General Knowledge and Current Affairs

  • Do not neglect this section as it is the most scoring part and the GS section alone covers ¼ of the paper.
  • The Hindu will be enough and try to utilise all the free portal which provides current affairs. However, on these online portals check if they the GK section is CLAT oriented or not as their main focus is on BANK, SSC etc.
