SSC Typing Test is a qualifying exam that is required to be undertaken by candidates appearing in SSC CGL and SSC CHSL exams. SSC CGL Typing Test
SSC CGL Typing Test is of two types which are as follows:
- CPT or Computer Proficiency Test
- DEST or Data Entry Skil Test

CPT or Computer Proficiency Test
The computer proficiency test or CPT is a test to determine the capability of a candidate in Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Generation of slides. In CPT, the section on word processing is a typing test. CPT needs to be undertaken in Tier 4 of SSC CGL.
SSC CGL Typing Test Exam Pattern
Candidates have to record 2000 key depressions in 15 minutes. The accuracy level should be maintained at 95 per cent for qualifying this round.

- Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under M/o Corporate Affairs,

DEST or Data Entry Skill Test

SSC CHSL Typing Test
SSC CHSL Typing Test takes place in Tier 3 of the SSC CHSL Exam. It is qualifying in nature. Candidates must meet the minimum requirements of the test in order to qualify for final selection.
